The shell of Hydraulic Breaker Related Information

The fracture of the drill rod from the flat sheath position is due to the presence of unstable impurities in the raw material, and fine cracks which are hard to find by the naked eye may occur on the surface of the drill rod. After heat treatment, the damage of this crack will immediately appear when the drill rod is used. The breaks often formed by this reason are very neat, just like cutting. There is also a case where there is a bad point inside the material, and the vacuum degassing during steelmaking is not ideal, resulting in bubbles inside the material. This material is cracked along the gas at the point of the heat treatment, which causes the drill rod to be easily broken when used. The crack surface is also like cutting.

The shell of Hydraulic Breaker Description

When working in a working environment, if the continuous striking time is too long, the temperature of the tip of the drill rod will be too high, the return will become soft, and it will be deformed into a mushroom head under a huge impact force. The hardness of the tip of the drill rod is relatively high. When starting to use, it is not suitable to use a large striking force, or directly in the rock with excessive hardness. The new drill rod should be preheated for a period of time with a small impact force before operation. After the drill rod is adapted to the working conditions, normal operation is performed, just as we need to do some warm-up exercises before strenuous exercise, so that the drill rod can exert its best effect. At the time of operation, it should be noted that it is best not to operate the breaker for continuous strike time at the same strike point.
